About B.E.E.R.
B.E.E.R. (Brewing, Ethanol, Ecology & Research) is an international weekly of beer science. Its layout pays homage to Nature: a red section mark, serif titles, a strict article register, and the habit of putting one study on the cover.
The journal is interested in how beer is made in the tank and how it is drunk in the street. The cover article of Volume 647, Number 8091is a complete census of beerhouses in Lixia District, Jinan — from Furong Street, Qushuiting and Kuanhouli to the Olympic Centre and Hualong Road — placing 412 venues back onto the geography of the springs.

Impact factors and citation metrics at a real journal are issued by Clarivate. This site is a stylistic demonstration: accesses, Altmetric scores and citation counts are illustrative. Places, springs, brands and festivals in the cover study follow public reporting and geography; the census statistics are a designed research example.
